LEARNING OBJECTIVES

​By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
 

  1. Explain where insulin pump therapy and Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) fit within current Canadian standards of care for individuals living with type 1 diabetes
     

  2. Identify appropriate candidates and review key education themes to support safe and effective transition to pump therapy and AID
     

  3. Facilitate the transition to pump therapy using a practical framework, including early follow-up planning
     

  4. Integrate pump therapy into clinic workflows and apply strategies to optimize outcomes in common clinical scenarios
